River Bank Primary is an Active Education Trust Free School for children aged 4 – 11.  We are committed to putting children at the centre of everything we do.  Our approach is to:

  • Inspire  your child to learn and succeed through physical activity, sport and play

  • Empower your child to take responsibility and to develop a life-long love of learning

  • Nurture your child to achieve by providing them with the knowledge, skills and understanding they will need to succeed

Our Values

The vision for our school was developed during the London Olympic year of 2012 and so we adopted the Olympic and Paralympic values as the core values for River Bank Primary School.

These values underpin the behaviours of all members of our school community and are reflected in the curriculum with its emphasis on active learning, health and wellbeing, PE, sport and inclusivity.

 

Our Ethos

River Bank Primary believes that active involvement in PE, sport and physical activity raises standards and addresses issues such as health and well-being, confidence and self-esteem.
