Online Safety

Our Online Safety policy reflects the importance of using information systems and electronic communication safely. We aim to keep our children safe online and also when using mobile phones, games consoles and wireless technology. We feel it is important to educate our children on the benefits, risks and responsibilities of using information technology.

Meeting the needs of Child Abused online

Below is a link to a document - How Can I Help My Child?

The leaflet is aimed at parents and carers. It explains what forms sexual abuse online can take and helps adults to understand why young people may be at greater risk of harm and why they may not tell. Critically, the leaflet helps you to know what to do if you believe your child has been harmed, some dos and don’ts and where to go for help.
